Shaped Wire — what to specify
Shaped wire is any cross-section that is not round — hexagonal, oval, half-round, D-section, or a geometry that exists only on your drawing. ERQI cold-draws these sections in 304 and 316L stainless steel and in 6061/6063 aluminium, holding both the profile and the tolerance along the whole coil so every metre assembles the same way.
Typical uses are structural and functional parts: seals, trim, fasteners and small components that would otherwise be machined or stamped. Most orders start from a drawing or a sample — we confirm the feasible size range, material and tolerance before the first coil is drawn.
