ERQI Expands Cold-Drawing Capacity for Profile Wire

ERQI New Materials has expanded its cold-drawing capacity to keep up with overseas demand for stainless and aluminium profile wire. Additional drawing lines and four-roll rolling capacity are now in production, together with extra bright annealing capacity for stainless grades.

The practical effect for customers is shorter lead time on custom cross-sections. Sections that previously needed a slot in the schedule can now be drawn and annealed in a single flow, which shortens both the sampling stage and the repeat-order stage.

What has changed

• Additional four-roll rolling capacity for non-round sections
• More bright annealing throughput for 304 and 316L
• Shorter lead time on custom profiles and repeat orders
• Same inspection routine — profile and size checked along the coil
